Current Leicester City Under 21 coach Nicky Eaden was welcomed into the FootballCV Academy to put the players through their paces.

Eaden, also managed to pass on some of his experience within the game, having previously played for Barnsley, Birmingham City, Wigan Athletic and Nottingham Forest. Whilst at Barnsley Eaden won promotion to the Premiership in the 1996-97, with his performances earning him a place in the First Division PFA Team of the Year.

Nicky, began his coaching career at Kettering Town being named Assistant Manager to Mark Cooper. From there he joined Peterborough United as Assistant Manager. Currently Eaden is working alongside Steve Beaglehole at Leicester City Under 21s.

Following the session Nicky Eaden said, “I enjoyed the session this afternoon, the lads showed great enthusiasm throughout.”

FootballCV Academy Head Coach Ian Sampson commented, “It is always good to have someone with Nicky’s experience visit, and the players responded well to Nicky’s coaching techniques.”
