The FootballCV Academy welcomes students from around the world.

Visas

Immigration

Immigration control in the UK affects everyone who is not a British subject. The Home Office is the Government department responsible for determining UK immigration policy. Particular rules apply to students who are EU/EEA nationals.

EU/EEA Nationals

European Community law gives EU/EEA nationals the right to live and work in the United Kingdom. There are no restrictions on employment or study. If you want confirmation of your right of residence in the UK you can apply for a Registration Certificate. However, there is no requirement for EU/EEA nationals living in the United Kingdom to apply. The following link explains this in more detail:

www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration/eu-eea-commonwealth

Non - EU/EEA Nationals

Every Non-EU/EEA national coming to the UK for longer than 6 months must obtain a visa prior to entering the UK. Depending on your nationality you may also have to register your stay with the police. If you need to register, this requirement will be stamped in your passport. You may also need to obtain a visa to visit other countries in Europe.

Student Visas

For attendees of the Academy Full Time Programme

Most international students are admitted to the UK on a student visa. This is usually valid until the completion of the course. To obtain a student visa, you will need to contact your nearest British Embassy, Consulate, or High Commission.

Applying for a UK student visa need not be complicated or time consuming, however, take your time to submit a complete and thorough application. It is worth contacting your local British Diplomatic Mission or visit their website as application procedures vary from country to country. The following link will also supply you with further information of the requirements of a tier 4 student visa:

For attendees of an Academy trial/open day or short course

If you are visiting the UK to attend a trial/ open day or a short course at the FootballCV Academy and are not a citizen of the UK or EU, you may be required to obtain a general visitor visa.

The following link shows the nationals of which countries require a visa to visit the UK:

Letters of confirmation to support an application can be sent by the Academy on receipt of a completed open day form and deposit. For further information on visitor visas directly visit:

Extended Student Visitor Visas

For attendees of the Academy Full Time English Language Programme

Like any student visa, you will need to contact your nearest British Embassy, Consulate, or High Commission. The link below will supply you with further information and details of this process:

How to find the Football Academy

Finding us is very straightforward - we are on High Street, St. Martin's, which is part of the main north/south road through Stamford. The Garden House Hotel is located at the south edge of town adjacent to the A43 junction. Entry to the car park (inside the walled gardens) is from Pinfold Lane off the A43 at the rear of the hotel.
